Lilly

Lilly has always been a fierce little queen. She's always been determined and has a need to be involved. She wants to know what is happening, she wants to see everything, and she understands and remembers far more than you might expect.

She is also a complete cuddle bug.

She will ask to be picked up when she wants affection, and once she trusts you, she loves deeply. So far, I am the only person she feels comfortable enough with to make happy paws on. And then there are her kisses.

Lilly gives head-butt kisses, sometimes surprisingly hard ones, but always with an enormous amount of love.

She is strong-willed, curious, incredibly affectionate and deeply connected to the people and animals she loves.

She is also very sensitive to stress, and managing it carefully is important for her health.

Stress can affect her bladder and has previously contributed to urinary problems. She is also a very emotional little girl and can be deeply affected by changes within her family. When we lost Indie's brother, Peanut, before Paddy came into our lives, Lilly struggled enormously with his absence and went through a period that appeared very much like depression.

She missed him terribly. Because of this, emotional stability, familiar relationships and companionship are particularly important for Lilly. She does not do well being alone for long periods and needs someone who understands that her emotional wellbeing is an important part of looking after her physical health too.
